I'm wasn'...I'm only surprised by how many didn't...<BR/><BR/> I'm wasn't surprised by McCain's speech--he's a good guy, and he's a moderate. If he hadn't been running I bet he himself would have backed Barack. His badly-run campaign proved that its hard to tie together "the conservative base" when you don't belong to it. I'm glad he's headed back to the senate to be a common-sense middle-grounder.<BR/><BR/>But I'm excited for the Obama presidency as well. My only worry is how he's going to make ALL of our dreams come true. In fact, now that I write that, I realize that his campaign promises sound a lot like Pedro's.
